WattBatteries terms and conditions of sale

WattBatteries only collect information that we require to fulfil your order. This is in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Customer details are not sold or given to any third party under any circumstances except to fulfil delivery purposes of your order. This may include giving your delivery address to the Royal Mail, a courier or an approved supplier who may arrange for delivery of your order.
You will not be added to an emailing list, however you may receive emails with regard to your current open orders.
On rare occasions we may need to email all previous customers and your email address will be kept for such purposes. For example we will inform you of any manufacturer recalls or Health and Safety warnings relating to products that you have purchased.
Cookies are used within this site but can be blocked without causing any problem when shopping.
Fraudulent orders details may be added to a database and will be blacklisted from ordering.

Every product comes with a complete 100% guarantee. This covers you for:
- credit/refund or replacement for any faulty on arrival item
- credit/refund or replacement for any incorrectly ordered stock items

Delivery is as follows:

The majority of orders are despatched within 14 working days.
Orders are not despatched on weekends or UK bank holidays.
Island and Scottish Highland orders may be subject to an extended delivery.
Some orders will be sent via a courier or by recorded post requiring a signature upon delivery. Goods which returned to us due to non-collection or due to no person available to sign will be classed as a return under the unwanted goods policy.
Your credit card may be charged prior to despatch. This does not indicate a guarantee of despatch.
WattBatteries cannot be held responsible for the industrial action of couriers or the Royal Mail and any delay caused by such reason is at the customers risk.
We do not supply international orders.

Customers must pay for goods prior to despatch with exception of WattBatteries authorised credit account customers.
Account customers are required to pay for goods within 30 days of invoice.
Customer credit accounts are available only to businesses and will only be opened at the discretion of WattBatteries.
Results of product searching through the WattBatteries website or external sites shall be the responsibility of the customer to ensure the correct products are being purchased.
Prices are subject to change at any time and without notice.
Delivery and despatch times are estimates only and shall not be of the essence of the contract.
All risk of products supplied passes to the customer at time of receipt.
Change cannot be given for overpayment by Postal Order.

The customer must inspect the goods upon delivery and report the fault by writing (preferably by email) within 48 hours of receipt.
Damaged goods must be returned to WattBatteries within 14 days of receipt.
Faulty products accepted by WattBatteries will be refunded in full or exchanged for a product of the same value.
Accident damage, neglect or misuse of items or worn items will not be acceptable for return.
Customers that have modified any product will void their warranty.
Carriage costs cannot be refunded except where the mistake is that of WattBatteries.
The customer shall pay any carriage costs involved in a return where the goods supplied are as requested and are not faulty.
WattBatteries will only arrange for collection from UK customers under special circumstances.
WattBatteries will not promise that any product will last for a pre-determined amount of time and will not be acceptable for return under this reason.
Incorrectly ordered products or unwanted returns will be subject to a 20% restocking charge with a minimum £2 charge.
Refunds will be made by the same method of payment.

Fulfilment of an order is subject to stock availability and WattBatteries are under no obligation to accept your order.
Failure to obtain authorisation for payment will result in cancellation of your order.
The payment system may check your address that you have typed in with that of the credit card statement address. Those orders which do not match may result in a delay or cancellation of your order.
We do not accept orders where the delivery address is requested in the UK but the credit card is a non-UK card.
Delivery will only be accepted to physical addresses only and PO Box number only deliveries may not be supplied.
A full address must be supplied by you and include a full correct postcode and house number where applicable.
Failure to provide a full address will result in a delay on your order.
All fraud attempts are reported to the issuing bank and the police.
Orders that have been delivered and have a failure to make payment due to fraudulent use of credit or debit cards or use of stolen credit or debit cards will be viewed as a sale of goods on account. Payment must be made within 30 days (plus a £50+VAT penalty) and WattBatteries reserve the right to recover such funds using legal methods including, but not limited to, Small Claims Court and Baliffs.
By completing the checkout with WattBatteries website, you are making an offer to purchase the goods at the advertised price. WattBatteries may refuse this offer.
